LOT POLISH AIRLINES ANNOUNCES MAJOR EARLY BIRD FARE SALE TO POLAND AND EASTERN EUROPE

CHICAGO, May 19, 2014—At a press briefing held in Chicago today, LOT Polish Airlines CEO Sebastian Mikosz announced a major early bird economy class fare sale on the carrier from Chicago, New York and Toronto to a number of cities in Poland as well as Eastern Europe.  The fare sale begins May 21 and ends June 4, 2014 for travel beginning Sept. 14 through Dec. 12, 2014 and Jan. 5 through March 31, 2015.

The transatlantic round-trip economy air fare, for example, from New York or Chicago to Krakow is $709 or to Prague is $879.  The prices include all fees, taxes and surcharges.  Tickets must be booked and ticketed within 24 hours of reservations.

These fares are non-refundable, require a Sunday overnight and are only available on LOT operated transatlantic flights and domestic flights when booked with a LOT flight number.  If a passenger wants to change the date of travel or upgrade to a different fare level after making a reservation, a $200 change fee as well as any difference in the fare would be charged.

To book these fares, contact a local travel agent, call LOT at (212) 789-0970 or visit www.LOT.com.

All of LOT’s long haul flights are operated with the high tech Dreamliners, providing many passenger comforts from bigger overhead bins to better air circulation that helps prevent jet lag.

Passengers flying on LOT receive frequent flier mileage in Miles & More, United Mileage Plus or any one of the other Star Alliance carriers’ programs.
